18 August 2026Hibio has no account and no analytics.
Your data is on this phone and, unless you turn backup off, in your own iCloud. Apple holds it; Hibio can't see it.
Hibio has no servers. It talks to Apple for the purchase and for iCloud, and to nothing else. AI insights, if you turn them on, run on this iPhone — the model is Apple's, on the device; nothing is sent anywhere.
Nothing from Apple Health leaves this phone, ever.
Export as CSV gives you everything. Erase everything removes it.
What Hibio stores
Everything you made and set, so a restore feels complete: your items and their settings (schedule, time of day, targets, reminders, tints, order, archive state); per-day logs and their source (hand, Health, widget or notification); rest days; miss reasons and their notes; notes; Focus sessions; target entries you added by hand; AI reviews you've already received; and your preferences (accent, chain density, appearance, reminders on or off, AI insights on or off and its settings).
Not stored, on purpose: Health quantities such as minutes, steps and distances (Apple's rules — the Hibio log they produced is kept, the numbers are re-read from Health on a new device); purchase state, which comes back through Apple's own StoreKit; permission states, asked again on each device; and the AI install token, which is minted fresh per install.
Where it lives
On this phone, in a store shared with the widget — always the source of truth for what you see, and the app works fully offline. And, on by default, in your own iCloud private database, tied to your Apple ID rather than any Hibio account. That's what makes a reinstall, a new phone, or a second device safe. Nowhere else.
What leaves your phone
Nothing, except two things: Apple, for the purchase, and Apple, for iCloud. Hibio has no server of any kind, not even for AI insights, which run on Apple's on-device model.
Apple Health
Nothing from Apple Health leaves this phone. Hibio reads what you permit, to log habits and count toward targets — the quantities themselves are never stored or sent anywhere, on this phone or off it.
Analytics and tracking
None. No analytics SDK, no crash reporting that leaves the device, no advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers of any kind. Apple's own opt-in crash sharing, if you've turned it on, is the operating system's business, not Hibio's.
Children
Hibio carries Apple's 4+ age rating. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for, so Hibio collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. The practices it describes — no account, no analytics, no servers — are the shape of the app itself, not a setting that can quietly drift.
